Keenan Shane Clodfelter, 20, has been indicted by a federal grand jury on 11 counts, including three counts of carjacking, three counts of robbery, and five counts of brandishing a firearm in connection with the carjackings and robberies. The alleged crimes occurred across the Denver metropolitan area.

According to the indictment, Clodfelter is accused of carjacking a 2013 Toyota Highlander on or about October 4, 2023. On the same day, he allegedly attempted to carjack a Hyundai Genesis, which resulted in a victim suffering a gunshot wound to the arm. The indictment also states that Clodfelter carjacked a 2010 Toyota Scion TC on or about November 20, 2023.

The charges further connect Clodfelter to several robberies: a 7-Eleven store located on East Quincy Avenue in Aurora and Pour Boy Liquor on 20th Avenue in Lakewood on November 20th, as well as the robbery of a Circle K on Kalamath Street in Denver on November 21st.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Lakewood Police Department are investigating this case. Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Leah Perczak and Assistant U.S. Attorney Brian Dunn are prosecuting.

“The charges contained in the indictment are allegations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt,” according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado.
