The Colorado Judicial Branch announced on April 23 that it will hold a virtual session titled “From Bar to Bench: 13th Judicial District and the Application Process” for those interested in learning about a career as a judge. The event is scheduled for Friday, May 1, from noon to 1 p.m., with registration closing at noon on April 30 or earlier if capacity is reached.
The session aims to give participants an inside look at the daily responsibilities of judges and explain how the application and evaluation process works, including details about the Governor’s appointment process. Attendees will also have access to practical advice from current judges who will share their experiences during the event.
